Nicole Goodman Johnson

I’m a serial entrepreneur and attorney who teaches beauty professionals how to use traditional legal tools to in today’s digital world.  In other words, I help you increase profits, save time, avoid costly legal mistakes.

Here’s a bit about me:

  • I’m Black….capital B. I recognize that systemic racism impacts how we do business and our access to key support, like legal services. And being part of a profession that historically excluded people who look like me, is one of the reasons I’m here, doing this work.

  • I was raised in Detroit. Dexter-Linwood, stand up! I’ve spent adulthood in the Washington, DC area. Specifically Congress Heights and Anacostia, before “the change.” So IYKYK! I’m a proud alumna of Howard University. Any success I’ve managed to pull off is largely because of the communities that raised me.

  • Throughout my childhood and early adult life, I experienced several stints of homelessness. Simply put, we were poor. My desire to help people build sustainable businesses and generate wealth stems from those early experiences.

  • I’m passionate about supporting entrepreneurs because ownership is what helps us build generational wealth, especially in Black and brown families. The neighborhood candy lady, the stylist doing sew-in’s from her living room, the first person you call when you need a cake baked. . . I want to see those businesses become sustainable assets for their owners.

  • I’m a serial entrepreneur. Over the years, I’ve started several small businesses. Some have failed, most have been successful. When I tell you that I understand the time and effort you’ve put into your business, I mean it. I want to protect all that you’ve built.

  • I’m somebody’s mama. Just like many of my customers and clients, I’m out here doing everything I can to create a beautiful life for my baby, and build wealth for generations to come.
